When Exam Stress Meets Culinary Creativity
It's 2 AM, you're stressed about exams, and suddenly you're convinced you can make better ramen than the instant stuff. Four hours later, you have the most complex bowl of noodles you've ever created.
This recipe born from late-night study sessions has become my comfort food masterpiece. Yes, it takes 4 hours. Yes, it's worth every minute.
The Ultimate Ramen
For the Broth:
- 2kg pork bones
- 3 tbsp white miso paste
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- Aromatics: ginger, garlic, green onions
For the Toppings:
- Fresh ramen noodles
- Soft-boiled eggs (6-minute eggs)
- Sliced chashu pork
- Nori sheets
- Corn and bamboo shoots
The 4-Hour Journey
- Blanch pork bones to remove impurities
- Simmer bones for 3+ hours until broth is milky white
- Season with miso, soy sauce, and sake
- Prepare all toppings while broth simmers
- Cook noodles and assemble your masterpiece
The result: liquid comfort that makes all-nighters bearable.
